Day 179 - Beach Fail

So for the past fortnight we had planned to take Monty to the beach tomorrow, but then reality dawned on us of the hoards of people that will be there especially at Lake Currimundi (a flat beach) which is where we wanted to take him as he had an absolute ball there at the beginning of the year.

So we deceided take him to Nudgee Beach as they have an off-leash dog section. All excited we jumped in the car and joined the hideous bumper-to-bumper traffic of every holiday goer planning a Sunshine Coast trip. We eventually arrived and saw like 30cm of beach and were like, huh...oh oops, high tide, didn't really think about that!! LOL

Awesome, but sadly empty for Monty, dog park

So unfortunately Monty didn't get his beach fun, but he did get a dog park with zero dogs in it...that's fun hey Monty??!! LOL We deceided to walk to the end of the dog park as it was mammoth and totally gorgeous due to all the lush trees. At the end was a little walking track which we followed before reaching a fork in the road...clearly Monty wanted to go one way, us the other. ;)

We kept following the track and came across an awesome oval...Monty had the best time running around the really well-kept oval and bouncy grass. There was a little playground on the side too that we encouraged Monty to have a little play in.

Seeing Monty smile makes my world complete, he is such a happy little boy anyways, but he is in his element when he is able to have a good run around outside (we have zero yard at home). Look at my little boysie boys face below. So happy!! :D xx
