Today Emi and I went to the Art Gallery for the "Hats - An Anthology by Stephen Jones" Exhibition and it was fabulous. :) Soooo many pretty hats and some absolutely ridiculous. LOL There was security everywhere so I couldn't really take photos, I took a couple of sneaky ones when I could. My favourite hats of course were all designer ones, mainly Dior (e.g. the hat on the cover of brochure which was amazing).
They had loads of videos, showing hats back in the day, how they are made, interviews with Milliners etc. I only watched one as the others were too crowded and the speakers were a joke, you could honestly barely even hear unless you were right next to it!!
Some sneaky shots above. ;) Wish I could have taken photos of my favourites, but this was the only place time there wasn't security around!! LOL
Above are some photos of hats that featured, taken from the cute little Exhibition brochure. Afterwards we went to the Hat Salon, which is the Exhibition's shop selling a whole host of hats. There were some absolutely gorgeous ones, but sadly but too exxy for moi right now. :(
The next Exhibition that I am absolutely gagging for is the Valentino Retrospective!! Omg...I freaking LOVE Valentino and seeing an assortment of his dresses from the past, present and future will be so freaking awesome!! :D Very excited it's coming to Brisneyland!! Bring on June fashionistas. :D xx
