Day 11 - Make-Up Make-Over

I have never hidden the fact that cleaning is my least favourite thing to do and despite loving cleanliness, I seriously struggle to keep things in order...le sigh. However, last weekends mass clean-up sparked something that NEVER happens to me...more cleaning without being forced to do it!! When "opportunities" like this hit me, believe me I just roll with it as they are few and far between. LOL

Maybe it was the unbelievable lunch I had at Peak Dining, the Seatonfire chilli-chocolate, the wine, or maybe there was something in the amazing food I had eaten at ARIA the night before, but the Martha Stewart in me came out in full force and I embraced it. With the floordrobe sorted, there was one arena that only I have to endure daily and I knew that it had to be dealt with...the make-up drawer.

I took great pleasure in tipping the entire drawer upside down...and went through it all. After admiring the contents, I then went through and put everything into their correct families...lipsticks, lipglosses, eye-shadows, shimmers, mascaras, eye and lip liners and make-up I wear daily. After tossing all the really old and leaking items, I hunted around and found little boxes and box lids to get everything all organised...so here is my new schmiko drawer...do you love it?? I love it. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then I am so close to being Venus baby, I can almost taste it...or is that just the SENCE I am drinking?? LOL xx
