Day 34 - My Pretty

Today I headed to Chermie to get started on the fun times Christmas shopping. Before I popped in the car, I saw the Myer catalogue sticking out of the postbox so grabbed it and went on my merry way. At the lights I started to flick through it and this stunning Hi There Karen Walker dress that the gorgeous Jen Hawkins was wearing totally caught my eye. I ripped it out to remind myself to check it out and shoved it in my bag.

After a successful few hours buying pressies for people, the last stop was Myer. I hunted down the dress and grabbed a few others to try on too. The latter were total fails, but I tried on the prettiest one last, weeeeeee PASS!! :D

I love finding a fabulous fun dress to get me through the party season. I used to buy dresses ALL the time in my previous job due to the amount of events that I had to do on a weekly basis. I needed constant newbies to inject into the wardrobe, because there are only SO many events you can get away with wearing the same dress over and over again in Brisneyland. While I still do a lot of events, thankfully the quota is nowhere near what they used to be, so I don't have to buy new outfits that often. I do miss having regular pretty additions to my wardrobe, but I know my bank balance most certainly doesn't!! LOL xx
