Day 40 - Crafty Cuts

Clear the dining room table peoples, it's craft time!!

I am truly blessed to such have an amazing friend, and now sister-in-law, in Kath. She is one of those very special people that just being around makes you instantly feel better. I can catch-up with her and be in a full on downer mood, but within minutes of seeing her boom, instant mood change. :) I just love hanging out with her.

One of the many things that Kath and I have in common, is our love for crafts. Willing away hours making things with her, is soooooooo much fun and if I could do it daily, believe me I would. She is my crafty cuts twin. We try and get crafty every few months, drinking coffee/cokes, eating lollies, shapes, chocolate, vegemite sandwiches (haha) and laughing all throughout. We are women with big dreams, who want to make everything...we have a list and we WILL get through it...!! :D

I originally had just a shopping bag that I keep all my craft stuff in when we first started out, however recently I have had to upgraded to a big eco-shopping bag. LOL

Today we spent the afternoon making Christmas cards. Apart from making things for Kath's kids School Fete years and years ago, I think it was cards that was the first thing we deceided to make together which started our craft days. :)

This session however was particularly hilarious...Kath brought out all her glitter glues and glitter pots, and for some reason, no card was complete without some form of glitter action. LOL It came to the point of us saying, what glitter problem? when admiring all of our pretty (and glittery) creations!! ;) Yes, believe it or not peoples, there is actually such a thing as too much glitter. xx

Christmas creations
