Day 35 - Monty & His Toys

Nothing makes me smile more than Mr Monty Noodles. He is SUCH a character and so ridiculously cute. He is THE apple of my eye...yes Husband is up there too, but little tooklie tookles has a way of capturing anyone's heart. The thing that makes me laugh so much, but can also frustrate the hell out of me when I am not in the mood, is his OBSESSION with wanting you to play tug-of-war with his toys. Seriously.


The moment you get home, Monty runs off to get a toy. The moment you look at him side-ways, Monty runs off to get a toy. You get up for a drink, Monty runs off to get a toy. Monty wants attention, Monty runs off to get a toy. He always HAS to have something in his mouth or near him to grab at the drop of a hat that playtime may commence. If no toy is available, he will just grab a sock, a drink bottle, a pen...anything, he will NEVER miss any chance of play!!


He is SUCH a classic, he just sits there with either his toy on your leg or sits next to you with the toy in his mouth, resulting in snorty breathing noises whilst flicking it around going "come on, grab it...come on" which if ignored, results in him dropping it, before he lets out a big sigh and he lies down looking like the boredest animal on the planet. This in turn, makes me feel guilty for not playing with him, so I reluctantly have to. LOL


Now I am totally down with playing with the Little Baby Angel, but tug-of-war is his ONLY game and Monty plays rough. He will NEVER give in to you and wants you to go all out when playing, as in using every single muscle in your body type tug-of-war. If it was easy, no effort, tug-of-war that would make my life so much easier, but no, Monty likes to make sure that I break out into a freaking sweat every time we play. LOL Aweeeeeee...but look at that face...how could you resist?? ;) xx
