Awe this time last year I was leaving on a jet plane with my friends heading to Tokyo!! So how fabulous (and timely) that I enjoyed some delicious Japanese with some gorgeous Bella company at Ginga tonight. :) Honestly absolutely everything about Japan I simply adore.
Before I arrived at dinner, I caught up briefly (due to my obsession with sleep as of late, or is it sleep's obsession with me?? I'll get back to you on that one) with family friends; one of whom we worked out that I hadn't seen in 19 years!! That in itself is truly frightening, it's like, am I even that old?? LOL
The one thing I love about hardcore family friends, the ones you saw often as kiddies but then one-by-one as you all grew-up and "life" took over, you sadly stopped seeing so frequently, is that even though you haven't have to see them in well...19 years, everything just takes off as if you only saw them yesterday and its always such a joy to see them. I just love that. It's like true honest friendship. Time may pass, seas or states may part you, but when you meet up after x amount of years/months and have gotten over the initial thrill of being apart and how everyone has changed, it's like they/you never left. xx
