Gotta love Christmas, buying pressies for people is always so much fun and the cute and thoughtful things people buy you in return just enhances the time even more. Today I received an absolutely gorgeous mirror from a work colleague. I was really touched as she attended our Wedding back in May in which we had a small but absolutely stunning LOVE paperweight from NYC on our cake table. I initially bought it in the hope to use it as our cake topper, but when my friend Jaxx who made our cupcake cake felt how heavy it was, unfortunately I knew on the table it would go. :) I became hugely obsessed with the LOVE symbol ever since I visited LOVE Park in Philly a few years back, seeing the massive red LOVE statue in the Park, I was instantly captivated.
Anyways, the paperweight didn't feature massively at all during our Wedding, I took it briefly in the photobooth for some shots, but other than that it just kinda sat there looking pretty. So when I opened my gift, I was like OMFG, I absolutely freaking love it. She was like awe I thought you would, it's just like the one you had at your Wedding. I couldn't believe that she a) even noticed it and b) remembered 7 months on...so sweet. :)
