Just over a week until I am home and hosed for 2 glorious weeks for my summer holidays...last year we toodles off to the cold and lived it up in Tokyo and then Niseko the entire time, but this year we are doing absolutely nothing and that excites me just as much. We have had such a boomer and exhausting year so we are both looking forward to just chillaxing at home by the pool, seeing our friends and recharging our batteries to gear up for 2010. :)
I usually only get through one book over Chrissy as we normally go away, but this year, I plan on getting through three!! The books on my Summer Reading List are: Eclipse, I Heart New York (then I can finally return it home to you Mel honey!!) and Mama Mia which I recently won off Twitter...yew!! OMG I am so excited!! Gosh that probably sounds SO sad, but to me books symbolise holidays and doing sweet fa, or having the time of my life. I rarely read books during the year opting for magazines instead as they are far more easier to stop and pick up a week later. xx

Siany, I asked for Mama Mia for Christmas, hope I get it! I am still reading Eat, Pray, Love...it's taking me ages because I can't get into like the rest of the world..lol. I need to find some chick lit I like for the over 30s ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI have actually heard other people say the same thing abut Eat, Pray, Love...so you are not alone!! :D I haven't read it yet.
ReplyDeleteMama Mia should be a fun read. Have you tried Maggie Alderson books?? They are really fun chicklit and if you want some PB-esque reading, get Plum Sykes books!! LOLZ
