Today when I was putting Bonesie out for her toilet break, the lovely owner of the house I always park my car in front of was walking his gorgeous puppy Sema. He stopped and told me the sad news that Stella aka Fats was hit by a car last week. :( Thankfully she is still with us, but is being forced to spend the next 2 months house-bound whilst she recovers. :(
I have actually had to run out and grab her from walking out on the road twice before, the first time I freaked as I saw her run out just as a car came flying around the corner, thankfully it swerved and she bolted towards me and into our office, was so scary!! Our office is on a blind corner of almost a main road, so it is NOT a playground for animals. Thankfully we can see out, as quite often we are calling/getting dogs when they get out and are just wandering around the intersection...I always freak out seeing them walking on the road, honestly seeing an animal get hit by a car is NOT something I want to witness, not sure I would recover actually. I get sad enough seeing dead Possies or Scrub Turkeys on the side of the road as it is. :( So Stella is a VERY naughty girl with her kissing death game by playing on the road...I wonder how many lives she has left?? :(
Feeling really sad about our little Stell-bell, we deceided to send her a little "Get Well Soon" Card wishing her a very speedy recovery so she can come and visit us again...she is seriously such a sweetheart cat and so curious and friendly, I bet she is going stir-crazy already been stuck in doors...the poor little lamb. :(
The good news is that Bonsie Bones is now waiting at our office door every morning and stays all day curled up in the sun, we used to have to swap them over all the time once Stella came onto the scene as they would both want to visit us, so we have to share the love. xx
