One of my contact lenses somehow managed to split in half when I put it in my eye on Tuesday, no idea how...worst part I only managed to get half of the contact out!! I kept washing my eye and tried to find it (contacts can go behind the eye at times), I even got husbo to look into my eye with a torch etc, but because it was so small he couldn't see it and I thought I may have got it out. Anyways, my eye was freaking caining, I wasn't sure whether it was due to the contact, or because of my search, so I donned the glasses instead. Next day my eye wasn't hurting that much, still not back to normal though, I kept looking but couldn't see it and I couldn't feel it, but I wore my glasses again just in case.Anyways today I woke up and OMG my eye was hurting so bad, I was like I definitely still have the contact in my eye I am going to have to see my Optometrist this is not good...low and behold when I looked in the mirror boom there was the little bit of contact FINALLY making itself to the side of my eye so I could get it out!! ARG!! Cannot tell you the relief I had to see that it was finally out!! Stuff like this makes me want to get laser surgery SO badly, but the thought of the actual procedure makes me think again!! LOL xx
Oh, that's so scary. I'm always freaked about contacts going behind my eye. After wearing glasses for 10 years, I'm considering laser. The idea of it freaks me out, but I'm trying to get convinced that it's safe. And yeah, I'm too scared to get a consultation to see if I'm eligible. I always thought it was super expensive, but the price is convincing me...
