I cannot tell you how much I just love The Milk Bar in Ashgrove...it is a sunshiney yellow 1950's themed cute-as-pie cafe that specialises in milkshakes/thickshakes (of course), delicious tasty treats and freaking awesome toasted sandwiches, open grills and pasta/salads.
A chocolate thickshake is a must whenever I go, even though one of them alone can fill me up!!
They always have the most amazing vegetarian open grills, so fresh and ridiculously tasty. Their chips are out of this world too, but sadly with the thickshake always a given for me, it is either the chippies or some vegetarian yum yums...I tried to do all three once and yeah, had to be rolled out of there and was hopeless for the rest of the day. LOL

I really wanted to get a photo of the tables and the fun yellow light shades, but being there for Saturday lunch, I didn't want people to think I was a weirdo trying to take their photo so didn't...will take one next time and add it to the post if I remember. xx
