Day 144 - Worry Dolls

For MANY years I have kept this little chest my Uncle Robbie gave me next to my bed. Inside it houses my gorgeous little Worry Dolls. According to legend, Guatemalan children would give one worry to each Worry Doll when they went to bed at night and place the Dolls underneath their pillow. In the morning the Worry Dolls would have taken their worries away.

Throughout my adolescence I trusted my Worry Dolls to help me with my concerns, they worked for me, or at least gave me something to believe in when I truly needed it...I used to have a lot more of these little cuties, but over time I have slowly given my collection away one-by-one to friends who have gone through difficult times, to help them. :) xx

  1. Ohhh, I LOVE these! I still have a little stash in my drawer. Although, like you, I have far less than I started with - after giving them away to friends who needed them x
