We haven't had lights in our bedroom for pretty much the last 3 years. There has only ever been one tiny light at the doorway but that has been busted for as long as I can remember. The "parents retreat" part of our room has never had a light because there are no wires to tap into, so we have always had to walk in there in the darkness until we find the big lamp to tap on with our foot.
So we deceided to toodles down to Ikea and check out some lights. Unfortunately we only really have modern-esque type lights to choose from, which aren't the best for our fabulous vintage type house, but we finally have full on light on both sides of the bedrooms!! It is amazing!! Down the track if we find better suited lighting, it's very easy to take down, but this will more than do for now. ;) xx
