OMG...I was seriously breathless from the moment I walked into the Valentino Exhibition. All of his dresses are honestly the most beautiful works of art; the dresses that dreams are made of. I felt so lucky to actually see his renowned workmanship in all their glory and cannot speak any higher of this Exhibition...so much so I will DEFINITELY be going back, possibly even next weekend.Please note all the photos are courtesy of Fashion Journo friend who was allowed to take pics with her iPhone pre-launch!!
If you haven't seen his amazing documentary "Valentino - The Last Emperor" then definitely see it before you go to the Exhibition to appreciate what you are seeing even more, especially because some of the dresses in the doco feature. I was there for 3.5 hours but could have easily stayed all day...it was amazing, amazing, amazing. xx
