Day 273 - Godalming

My Aunty Suki's home.

Today we arrived in London and were met by my lovely Uncle Robbie at the Airport and taken to my Aunty Suki’s (Emi’s twin) house. Something I love about the English Summers is the long light nights. I think we arrived around 6:30pm and were sitting in Sue’s beautiful garden until like 8:30pm and it could have been early afternoon…just gorgeous.

My Aunt's magnificent garden.

I love seeing Suki’s house it is just so big (four stories) and full of character with her fabulous garden…simply gorgeous. Something that makes me laff is how my Emi is a twin yet her and Suki are SO different. Emi is the ‘mad chucker’ and likes everything in a tidy and orderly fashion, less is more in Emi’s eyes (how I WISH I was) whereas Suki’s house is full to the brim with fabulous knick knacks, memento’s, photos, paintings (courteously of her Artist partner Ben) and piles and piles of stuff. Suki and I are so similar. Emi is hilarious whenever she see’s all of Susie’s things, she is like, “Susan I am ordering a skip and I am getting into all your things”!! Hahaha The mad chucker is always ready and raring to strike!! LOL

I love all the memories of my childhood that arise from these trips, I remember so clearly the times I spent with my cousin’s Damien and Tamsin when they lived there and all the fun we had. We are having a big reunion with them and my Uncle Robbie and Noel on Saturday which I simply CANNOT wait for. :D Time may pass, but the love and friendship between close families never fades.xx
