Sevenoaks to me is like a little Village, I know it is actually a relatively big town, but I guess it has that sleepy old feeling to me and because of the gorgeous historic homes, the cobblestone streets, amazing hedges (instead of fences), glorious gardens and pretty countryside so close by.

This morning we went down to Sevenoaks town to look around. It is pretty small and there really isn't much to see or buy, a sleepy little town I will call it...but it was lovely to walk around and see it.

Emi went to this bar every Saturday back in the 60's, to find out where all the parties for that weekend were!! ;)

The oldest part of Sevenoaks.
We visited Knole Park, the old Stately Home that King Henry the VII used to come and stay with all his men whilst he was wooing Anne Boleyn who was living at Hever Castle at the time.

The home is so old and gorgeous and so are all the sweet little Deer that roam all around it...aweeeeee sweeeeeeties!! :D

Was hilarious, whilst we were walking around the house, I heard this conversation between two American's that made me shake my head and laff at the same time:
American 1 - "Oh wow, look at all these Rudolf's!!"
American 2 - "Their not Rudolf's they're Bambi's."
American 1 - "Oh yeaaaaaah." LOL

This is how they get such amazing thick green grass around the estate...each of these are little individual pots of grass!! That looks like WAY too much work for me!! LOL xx
