Aweeeee today we went on a trip down memory lane in Putney. Here we went and saw my childhood home along Chartfield Avenue and my old Nursery School which was walking distance from our house.

Our old home!!
It won an architectural award back in the day because it was "so different" to the typical Victorian style homes that make up 90% of the 'burbs. We used to call it Mr Silly's House as it really did look silly in comparison to the rest of the street...but we LOVED it. :)

The front door was still the same, as it had a hand as a door knocker.

Parrot stained glass window in my parents en-suite.
Two trips ago, we were really lucky as my old Nanny actually used to look after the children that lived in this home, how random is that, so she asked if we could possibly have a quick look around it, which the kind owners let us...it was SO much smaller than I remember, but gosh, it was so sweet to see it and "refresh" our memories of it.

The Weeping Willow is still going strong...it was the most amazing tree...Dad got a professional Fisherman to come to our home and tie a massive rope swing using only knots to the Willow...we LOVED it and were over the moon when we saw it still attached!!

Here is the little alley way that we would walk down to get to Mrs Grays, my old Nursery School...we used to call it "Poo Alley" as kids because we would always have to be on the look out for dog poo that was EVERYWHERE. Much to our surprise, there was no dog poo this time round...haha...clearly the same "pick up after your dog" rules apply here in London now. ;)

The horizontal bit to the right hand side of the Church is where my Nursery School was...it is still going strong, although now goes under the name Busy Bees instead...awe!! xx
I really love looking at all your pics! Your house, the weeping willow, the cute poo lane..lol...beaut!
